What the data says about Wiltshire
Modelled yield is not flat across Wiltshire. Salisbury comes out at 923 kWh per kWp a year against 894 at Chippenham, a spread of 29 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 14,500 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Wiltshire follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means M4 J15, M4 J16, A419, A420, A350 and A361, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
