Who controls your data
Lenzie Consulting Ltd (company 08174104) publishes warehousesolarpanels.co.uk and is the data controller for enquiries made through it. Contact us at hello@warehousesolarpanels.co.uk.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, company, email address, phone number, site postcode, building type, roof area band, annual electricity spend band, what you are interested in and any message. We also record the date and time, the page the enquiry came from, a unique reference, your IP address and your browser's user agent, which we use to trace and de-duplicate enquiries.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We hold it to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a roof survey, and to pass it to an installation partner so they can quote. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked a supplier for a quotation, and responding is what you would reasonably expect. Where we later send you anything unrelated to your enquiry, we will ask for consent first.
Who we share it with
Your details are passed to our MCS-certified installation partner so they can survey and quote. They act as a controller of that copy for their own quoting and contracting. We also use Resend to deliver the notification email and Cloudflare to host the site and the form endpoint. We do not sell your details, and we do not syndicate the same enquiry to multiple trades.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Records we need for commission or tax purposes are kept for six years, which is the statutory retention period.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email hello@warehousesolarpanels.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Where the data sits
Enquiries reach us as email: the form posts to a Cloudflare function which sends the message through Resend, and the copy we keep lives in that mailbox. Both process data in the UK, the EU or the United States under standard contractual clauses.
