What the data says about Sussex
Modelled yield is not flat across Sussex. Chichester comes out at 1028 kWh per kWp a year against 915 at Crawley, a spread of 113 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 56,500 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Sussex follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means M23 J10, M23 J11, A23, A22, A27 and A286, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
