Warehouse solar panels across Nottinghamshire
We survey industrial and distribution roofs throughout Nottinghamshire, model what each one can carry, and arrange the design, the grid application and the install through our MCS-certified partner.

What the data says about Nottinghamshire
Modelled yield is not flat across Nottinghamshire. Newark comes out at 874 kWh per kWp a year against 842 at Worksop, a spread of 32 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 16,000 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Nottinghamshire follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means M1 J24, M1 J25, M1 J26, A52, A453 and A60, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
The government's planning database records 164 solar schemes in Nottinghamshire totalling 3700 MW, of which 35 are already operational and 14 of the schemes in our covered postcode districts are roof mounted. Source: Renewable Energy Planning Database, Q1 2026.
Connections across the county run through National Grid Electricity Distribution. Anything above 3.68 kW per phase needs a G99 application, and the export limit they offer shapes the design, so we ask the question before the array is sized rather than after.
- Nottingham 859 kWh/kWp
- Mansfield 852 kWh/kWp
- Worksop 842 kWh/kWp
- Arnold 857 kWh/kWp
- West Bridgford 864 kWh/kWp
- Retford 869 kWh/kWp
- Newark 874 kWh/kWp
