What the data says about Kent
Modelled yield is not flat across Kent. Margate comes out at 990 kWh per kWp a year against 915 at Dartford, a spread of 75 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 37,500 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Kent follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means M20 J7, M20 J8, A20, A229, M25 J1a and A2, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
