Warehouse solar panels across Essex
We survey industrial and distribution roofs throughout Essex, model what each one can carry, and arrange the design, the grid application and the install through our MCS-certified partner.

What the data says about Essex
Modelled yield is not flat across Essex. Clacton-on-Sea comes out at 973 kWh per kWp a year against 908 at Harlow, a spread of 65 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 32,500 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Essex follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means A12, A120, A133, A127, A13 and A130, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
The government's planning database records 221 solar schemes in Essex totalling 2787 MW, of which 46 are already operational and 11 of the schemes in our covered postcode districts are roof mounted. Source: Renewable Energy Planning Database, Q1 2026.
Connections across the county run through UK Power Networks. Anything above 3.68 kW per phase needs a G99 application, and the export limit they offer shapes the design, so we ask the question before the array is sized rather than after.
