Warehouse solar panels across Staffordshire
We survey industrial and distribution roofs throughout Staffordshire, model what each one can carry, and arrange the design, the grid application and the install through our MCS-certified partner.

What the data says about Staffordshire
Modelled yield is not flat across Staffordshire. Tamworth comes out at 857 kWh per kWp a year against 826 at Newcastle-under-Lyme, a spread of 31 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 15,500 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Staffordshire follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means M6 J15, M6 J16, A50, A500, A53 and A38, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
The government's planning database records 118 solar schemes in Staffordshire totalling 1054 MW, of which 17 are already operational and 18 of the schemes in our covered postcode districts are roof mounted. Source: Renewable Energy Planning Database, Q1 2026.
Connections across the county run through National Grid Electricity Distribution. Anything above 3.68 kW per phase needs a G99 application, and the export limit they offer shapes the design, so we ask the question before the array is sized rather than after.
- Stoke-on-Trent 833 kWh/kWp
- Newcastle-under-Lyme 826 kWh/kWp
- Burton upon Trent 852 kWh/kWp
- Tamworth 857 kWh/kWp
- Stafford 842 kWh/kWp
- Cannock 842 kWh/kWp
- Lichfield 857 kWh/kWp
