Warehouse solar panels across Suffolk
We survey industrial and distribution roofs throughout Suffolk, model what each one can carry, and arrange the design, the grid application and the install through our MCS-certified partner.

What the data says about Suffolk
Modelled yield is not flat across Suffolk. Leiston comes out at 956 kWh per kWp a year against 905 at Newmarket, a spread of 51 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 25,500 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Suffolk follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means A14, A12, A1214, A47, A134 and A143, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
The government's planning database records 118 solar schemes in Suffolk totalling 1369 MW, of which 23 are already operational and 12 of the schemes in our covered postcode districts are roof mounted. Source: Renewable Energy Planning Database, Q1 2026.
Connections across the county run through UK Power Networks. Anything above 3.68 kW per phase needs a G99 application, and the export limit they offer shapes the design, so we ask the question before the array is sized rather than after.

- Bury St Edmunds 912 kWh/kWp
