Warehouse solar panels across Lancashire
We survey industrial and distribution roofs throughout Lancashire, model what each one can carry, and arrange the design, the grid application and the install through our MCS-certified partner.

What the data says about Lancashire
Modelled yield is not flat across Lancashire. Blackpool comes out at 888 kWh per kWp a year against 774 at Burnley, a spread of 114 kWh per kWp. On a 500 kWp array that difference is about 57,000 kWh a year, which is worth checking before you accept a generic saving figure.
The larger roofs in Lancashire follow the freight routes. Across the towns we cover that means M55 J3, M55 J4, A583, A584, M65 J4 and M65 J6, which is where single-let distribution stock concentrates.
The government's planning database records 161 solar schemes in Lancashire totalling 521 MW, of which 25 are already operational and 13 of the schemes in our covered postcode districts are roof mounted. Source: Renewable Energy Planning Database, Q1 2026.
Connections across the county run through Electricity North West. Anything above 3.68 kW per phase needs a G99 application, and the export limit they offer shapes the design, so we ask the question before the array is sized rather than after.

- Blackburn 782 kWh/kWp
- Preston 805 kWh/kWp
- Burnley 774 kWh/kWp
